Mémoires romantiques de Coaticook

After staying in Coaticook at the artist’s residence during spring 2015, Viviane Leblanc, was inspired by the region's landscapes and heritage. She presents a truly poetic exhibit entitled: Mémoires romantiques de Coaticook.

Such memories!... Expo67

April 23rd to October 22nd

In order to commemorate the Fiftieth Anniversary of Expo 67 the Museum proposes the exhibit: Such memories!... Expo67. This will be a look into this universal event which marked the whole national history. The particularity of this exhibition lies in the fact that it is mainly based on the recollections of the inhabitants of the region.

Renée Larochelle and Ronald Magar

Nature, motifs et textures
May 21st to July 9th 2017

Renée Larochelle and Ronald Magar, trained biologists and inevitably inspired by nature, patterns and textures from the animal and plant world, propose their project Nature, motifs et textures. The ceramics by (Renée Larochelle) and the watercolor by (Ronald Magar) are the modes of artistic expression of this duo which influences each other.

Passages : entre figuration et abstraction

William G. Kinnis
June 18th to September 17th

The exhibit  Passages : entre figuration et abstraction illustrates the transition from the painter William G. Kinnis from figurative art to abstract art. Composed of medium and large formats, the proposed corpus comes from the artist's production covering the period of the late 1980s to the year 2000.

The threesome of professionnal photographers
July 16th to September 10th

This threesome of professional photographers under the name:  Les trois dimensions is composed of Bertrand Thibeault, Marc Hébert and Stéphane Lafrance. They invite the public to come and admire their eponymous exhibition which is systematized around three themes: landscapes, digital creations, architectures and portraits.


Lisa Baldwin
September 17th to November 5th

Lisa Baldwin, guided by her passion for the outdoors presents Haïku. These are short poems pertaining to small details which are present in nature, time and space. Haikus embody perfectly the philosophy of the artist. Materialized with oil paintings on wood, on canvas and on cardboard, they are of medium and large dimensions.

Paul Jolicoeur
September 24th to November 5th

Through a series of photographs taken over a period of 5 years, Paul Jolicoeur proposes Impressions sénégalaises  which shows the beauty of the overflowing lifestyle of the inhabitants of a fishing district in Senegal who take full ownership of their streets each and every day.


Chantal Bonneville
November 12th 2017 to January 28th 2018

In the exhibit  Acéphale, Chantal Bonneville presents photographic creations as well as poetic paintings where peace, soul and nature are the main subjects. The subject and the artist are both bearers of a deep and secret meaning just as a photographic object is a symbolic or an emotion of its own.

D'Arte facto

Maude J. Langlois
November 12th 2017 to January 28th 2018

D’Arte facto is the result of a whole year of creation on the theme of Artefacts which all started during Maude J. Langlois stay at the artist’s residence in Coaticook during 2015. This exhibition marks a turning point in the evolution of her approach pertaining to the integration of artefacts in her work.

Wagons, whistle and rails ... Trains under the tree

During the Holiday Season the Museum presents the exhibit Wagons, whistle and rails…Trains under the tree. This exhibit is devoted to the tradition of miniature trains offered as gifts during Christmas time. This is in part from the Museum's collection as well as some loans from collectors.
