Nature and internal life are Danny Marchand's favorite themes. Having started with graphite, he was influenced by the ingenuity of Salvador Dali. Afterwards, he chose painting, another technique, another semantic. It was then Claude Monet with the richness of his work that became his guidance.
Born from the regrouping of an amalgamation of creations produced between 2015 and today, the body of the project “Avec ou sans Ménagerie?” consists of some twenty paintings which provide an overview of the artist's research and experiments in visual arts.
Danny Marchand grew up in the suburbs of Montreal. He learned to draw on his own starting with copying fanciful images he could get his hands on. Subsequently, he discovered Salvador Dali, which strongly influenced his initial creations. An academic career in the arts and immersed daily in his work, made him a real artist who always wants to be renewed.
