The artist presents paintings depicting unknown territories where nature becomes abstract and floods images with an urban intonation. Searching for a meaning in worn out and frequently visited places, being each other’s interpreter, we are alone together.
She is fascinated by diverse relationships and in our inability to grasp another person’s subtleties. She is inspired by places which shelter us as much as by thoughts that inhibit us. Her sceneries are coded messages which represent the insignia of human complexity. She introduces solitary beings and inhabited places which are close and linked to each other, but with a wordless dialogue between us and the others.
Her work is a mix of abstract painting, photography, retouched pictures and screen printing. The images are drawn from her own photos which are modified by computer and screen printing in acrylic right on the canvas.
