The tradition of Santa Claus came from Europe and spread through all Europe, North America and in every the corners of the world. Saint Nicolas, Father Christmas, Santa Claus, Père Noel, etc. Whatever his name might be, he was inspired by “Julenisse”, a Nordic Elf who came to earth in order to offer presents to the Scandinavian children during the winter festivities. These days, Santa Claus is the emblem of Christmas for all children worldwide.
