In this exhibition, Zoëlle Gagné (Zo L) presents a series of paintings inspired by the Age of Enlightenment (18th century). Her goal is to provide visitors with a different visual experience from this part of history. Her characters and subjects have found their place in this environment of excessiveness and extravagance while retaining the personal touch of the artist she calls "Patchw'Art".
Zoëlle Gagné (Zo L) a self-taught painter, lives and works in Beaumont, Quebec. She has a recognizable artistic signature that she developed during various experiments with the help of stained glass, watercolor and oil painting using a knife.
